Using MARPA
Acquire a Target
➤ To acquirea target:
1. Pressthe MARPA soft key todisplay theACQUIRE TARGET softkeys.
2. Positionthe cursoroverthe requiredtarget andpressthe ACQUIRE TARGET
softkey.
The symbolis placedatthecursorpositionandtheradarsearchesfora
targetatthecursorposition.Ifatarget ispresentforseveralscanstheradar
locksonto itandthesymbol indicates asafe target, the targetvectoris
alsodisplayed.Ifthetargetiscontinuouslylost,thelosttargetsymbol is
displayedand aLost Targetalarmisgenerated;pressanykey tocancelthe
alarmand remove thelosttargetsymbol from the display.
3. PressENTER or CLEAR toreturntothe defaultdisplay.
Cancel a Target
➤ To cancela targetusingthecontext-sensitive cursor:
1. Movethecursorover the target, thefollowing softkeysare displayed.
2. PresstheCANCEL TARGET softkeytocanceltargettrackingandremovethe
symbolfromthedisplay.Thedefault softkeys aredisplayed.
➤ To cancel a target from the database list.
1. Pressthe defaultsoftkeyMARPA to displaythe MARPA softkeys.
2. Pressthe MARPA LIST softkey,the databaselistis displayed.
3. Usethetrackpadto selecta target,then pressthe CANCEL TARGET soft key
to remove the selected target.
4. PressCLEAR toremovethedatabaselist.
