Customizing the
Screen Presentation
Options
Data Boxes
Agroupofuptosixdataboxescanbedisplayed,iftheinformationisavailable
onyoursystem.Youselectwhichdataisdisplayedintheboxesduring
systemsetupasdescribedin Chapter7:SettingUp theSystemDefaults.
Thedefaultdata box positions arealong the bottomof thedisplay. Each box
canbemovedtotherequiredpositiononthescreenusingthecontext-sensitive
cursor.
Note:IfyouselectBDI,CDIorNavDatafordisplayinahalf-screenwindow,
thedata boxesaretemporarilyhidden.
Atanytime,youcanswitchthegroupofdataboxesonoroffusingtheSCREEN
softkey. When first installed,theboxesare allOFF. Whenthe displayunitis
switched off andonagain,thedataboxesreturntotheirlast-usedstates(ON or
OFF)andpositions.
Note:The SCREEN soft keydoesnotcontrolthesixteendataboxesthatcanbe
displayedinthehalf-screenwindow.
➤ To switchthe group of databoxesonoroff:
1. Pressthe SCREEN defaultsoftkey.
2. Pressthe DATABOXES soft keytotogglethe settingfrom ON to OFF or from
OFF to ON.
To returntothedefaultsoftkey display, pressENTER.
Ifyou turn thedataboxeson and none are displayed,you need toselectthe
onesyou requireusingthe systemsetupmenu,as describedinSection 7.3,
SystemSet Up Parameters.
➤ Youcanusethecontext sensitive cursorto selectandmove any databox(the
label BOX is displayed).See Movingand deletingitems with the context-
sensitive cursor on page 1-17
Waypoint Display - Radar mode
Ifyou are currentlygoing to a waypoint,you can display theactive waypoint
onthe radar picture.The waypointmay have been generatedlocallyon the
chartplotter, or receivedviatheSeaTalkorNMEAinterface.
Note:IfyouusetheGOTO CURSOR function,theactivecursorisdisplayedasa
lollipopsymbolon the radar.
➤ To displaythe active waypoint:
1. Pressthe SCREEN soft key.
2. Pressthe WAYPOINT softkey to togglethe settingON.
To returntothedefaultsoftkey display, pressENTER.
