Thesimulatorallowsyou to operate yourdisplay withoutdata from the
antenna and/orexternaldata sources.The systemsetup simulatoroptions
havethe followingfunctions:
• Dataprovidessimulatednumericaldata,andawaypointdisplay.
• Radarprovides simulatedradar picture, withexample targets. The pic-
turedoesnotchangeifyouchangetherange,althoughtherangeringsare
adjusted (see Chapter 3)
.
• Bothprovidessimulateddataand radarpicture.
Whenthesimulatorisswitchedon,aSIMULATOR databoxisdisplayedduring
operation, showing the simulation selected.
