chart.When you selectthe tideheightoption,agraphofpredictions for
maximumand minimum tide heightsis displayed,data for sunriseand sunset
isalso providedas illustratedFigure 5-3.
Note:The predictionsavailablearesufficientlyaccurateunder moderate
weatherconditions,forthecoastalareasservedbythereferencestation,tobe
usedfor navigationplanning.However,certainweatherfrontsand storms
canalter tidalpatterns and influence predicted timesand heights.
Thecursor,representedby a dottedvertical line on the graph,isused to select
atimefor which thetideheightisdisplayed.
Youcanuse thesoft keys and trackpadto changethedatefor which tide
information is shown.
