Editing a Route
Adding Waypoints at the End of the Route
➤ To addwaypointsat the end of theroute:
1. Pressthe ROUTE softkey, followedby the EDIT ROUTE soft key.
TheMakeRoute softkeys are displayedand thecursoris connectedto the
last-placed waypointwitha dotted line.You can add furtherwaypointsto
theroutein the same way as for a new route.
2. Either:
i. Movethe cursorto therequiredlocation,and pressPLACE WAYPOINT
softkey.
Ifyouplace thewaypointin the wrongposition, pressthe UNDO WAY-
POINT softkey.
Or
ii. Press USE WPT LIST,theMAKE ROUTE pop-upisdisplayed.
Selecta waypointfromtheWaypointListthenpress theINSERT WAY-
POINT softkeyto placethewaypointat the end of the Route.
3. Placeasmanywaypointsasrequired,andpresstheACCEPT ROUTE softkey,
thedefaultsoft keys aredisplayed.
Note:You can UNDO waypoints in theoriginalroute, notjust thenew ones.
Removing a Waypoint from the Route
➤ To removea waypointfromthecurrentroute:
1. Movethecursorover the requiredwaypointuntilthe lettersWPT aredis-
played.The waypointsoftkeys are displayed.
2. Pressthe REMOVE WAYPOINT softkey.The waypointisremovedfrom the
routeand the route isre-numbered.
Alternatively, youcan remove the lastwaypointfroma route bypressingthe
UNDO WAYPOINT softkey,asdescribedaboveinAddingWaypointsattheEnd
oftheRoute on page 5-28.
Ifthe routehasnot beensaved and thewaypoint was placedaspartof the
route,thewaypointis erased.
Ifthe routehasbeensaved,or thewaypointexistedbeforeyou createdthe
route,thewaypointremainsonthe screen.
Reversing the Route
➤ To reversethe route,soyoucanFollowthe routeback:
1. Eitherpress theROUTE softkeyfollowed byMORE,
ormovethecursor overthe requiredwaypointuntilthe lettersRTE aredis-
played.
Theroutesoftkeysaredisplayed.
2. Pressthe REVERSE ROUTE softkey.The current routeisreversed on the
screen.
