YoucansetObject InformationON ALL, ON POINTS or OFF to determine when
anobject identification pop-upis displayed.WhensettoON ALL,the
informationpop up is displayedwhen thecursoris placedoverany chart area
fortwoseconds.ON POINTS enablestheinformationpopupwhenthecursoris
placedoveradisplayedchartobject andOFF disables the informationpop up.
Palette
ThePaletteoptionletsyouspecifywhichcolorpalette,ShadeorSunlight,the
displayuses.
TheSunlight palette isoptimisedforbest displayclarityinbright sunlight.In
dimmerconditions youmaypreferthe shadepalette.
Waypoint Options
Waypoint Symbolscontrolswhetherornotthewaypointsareshownonthe
Chartdisplay, withtheirappropriatesymbols. The activewaypoint,and
waypointsinthecurrentrouteare always shown.
Waypoint Numbers controlswhetheror not the waypointnumbers are
shownforany waypointsinthecurrent route.
DefaultWaypointSymbolletsyou selectthesymbolyou want used for
waypointdisplay.
Vectors
Heading,Tide and Course OverGroundvectors can be displayedas a line
fromyour vessel.Thelength of thevectoris determinedby your choice of
SOG and thetimeperiod. An infinitevectorextendsto the edge ofthechart
screen.
HeadingVectorindicatesyour currentheading.
COGVectorindicatesyour courseoverground.
Tide Vector indicatesthetideangle. Tide information iscalculatedfrom the
speedthroughwater,compassandpositiondata.
Radar/Chart Synch
Ifyou have a combined radar/chartplotterdisplayyou can selectRadar/Chart
SynchON orOFF.WhensetON with chartand radarwindowsdisplayed,FIND
SHIP canbe used to synchronizetheradar and chartimages.
Thechartis redrawn so thatits centermatchesthat of theradar display. The
radaris redrawnto the scale and headingmodeofthechart.
