Offsetting the Center
3. Pressthe requiredzoom optionsoftkey,INTO WIN orFROM WIN.
Thesoftkeys are cleared,and the cursorhas control of the zoom box that
indicates theareatobe enlarged.Thisisindicatedby thelettersZMB in
inversevideo,andthefour-headedcursor symbol.Thezoombox defaults
toitslast-usedpositionsincepower-on.
4. Usethetrackpadtomovethezoombox to the requiredarea, thenpress
ENTER. The selectedareaisshownin enlargedformat,eitherin the quar-
ter-screenZoom window(INTO WIN) orin the main window (FROM WIN).
PressDISPLAY then ENTER to exit theZoom mode.
Alternatively, youcan pressand hold DISPLAY for2seconds.
➤ Youcanusethecontext sensitive cursorto selectandmove the enlarged area
inviewin the window(thelabelZMB isdisplayed). SeeMoving and deleting
itemswith thecontext-sensitivecursor on page 1-17

Theradarpictureisnormally shown withyourvesselat the centerof the
display.However, youcanmovethe center, so thatyour vesselisoffset by up
to66%of theradius,anywhereon the screen.
Note:You cannot offsetthecenterwhen theradardisplayisset to thelongest
rangescale.
